I am extremely excited to be working with someone who I consider to be a rising star in Toronto’s R&B/Urban/Whateveryouwannacallit music scene. Amenta is a name you should watch for, not only for her subtle, sweet and raspy, lilting 40’s/50’s-esque vocals, but also for her (ahem) excellent choice of producer collaborations. We had spoken about doing some original music a while back but both got side-tracked. No longer!

While we do plan to record some tracks that I have produced, this time around, we were puttin’ in work recording and mixing her over a fLako beat. The tune is called Elevate. You can check out a rough mix preview here!
