I would usually be the first to spit on a school trying to teach people how to be creative only because the large majority of the ones I’ve encountered have one thing on their minds; money.
I would expect the end results with Red Bull aren’t far off even if they make it in another way but after checking into it on redbullmusicacademy.com I actually liked what I saw. They’ve put together an excellent web site, guest lecturers who’ve actually done something and represent both independent and major/minor label music. I hope they keep it as such.
They even put their lectures up on a podcast series!
If you have the time, any serious producer should check out this site. Kudos Red Bull! I don’t love your drink, but I love your academy.
