I’m sick today. Though I’ve been sick for a while now I think. Today I am sick in a physical sense though my other sicknesses may result from the very thing that allows me to write this blog.
For a while now I’ve been chasing something that I can’t seem to get a clear vision of. It could be fame or money but I’m not really interested in either. I think it’s rather recognition. But then isn’t everyone interested in being recognised for the work they do?
I feel like I’m missing something in this blog and I think a recent editing job I did may have put it into perspective for me. David Lawrence gave a great talk at the latest Portable Media Expo about finding your natural voice.

Seems simple but it’s taken me some time to realize that.
Long story short; I am still trying to figure out what to write but from now on, recognition or not, I’m writing about what I want, not what I think YOU might want. Although, I hope YOU like it

So I suppose this is a message to say don’t lose hope. As I mentioned two posts ago, we are doing this because we love it. [...]
